Texas Travel Industry Recovery Grant Program

Texas Travel Industry Recovery Grant Program (TTIR) was established by Senate Bill 8 during the 87th Legislature, Third Special Session, to administer $180 million of funds received from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund, which was established under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. The purpose of TTIR is to provide grants for the recovery of Texas businesses in the tourism, travel, and hospitality industry that were negatively impacted due to COVID-19, in particular those businesses

TTIR will support the Texas tourism, travel, and hospitality industry by making grant funds available to businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19 in order to improve safety, customer service, and hospitality within their operations and further encourage travel and tourism industry recovery.

TTIR will issue a one-time payment capped at $20,000 to eligible Texas businesses that experienced an economic loss due to COVID-19.

A grant will be available to eligible businesses in the following industries: Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation, Accommodation and Meetings, and Food Services and Drinking Places (NAICS codes 71 , 722 , 7211 , 7212 , 5615 , 561920 , 312120 , 312130 , 312140 ).

To apply for the Texas Travel Industry Recovery Grant Program (TTIR Program), each user must establish a user account and password. New users should click on the register button, on the top right of the page. Returning users should click the login button.

Users will be required to answer each question in the online application and attach all pertinent documents. After an application is submitted in the online application portal, no changes to the application can be made once it is certified. Please make sure all information and responses are true and correct before clicking the Certify button.
